Week Eleven Reading

Although my students are a bit too young to know exactly as to what it is to vote as explained in the first section of this week's reading, I do practice some sort of voting within the classroom. Every morning, my students have the option of three different breathing exercises to do that morning to better prepare for our day. My students vote and the one with the most votes is then the chosen breathing exercise we do as a class. This is done every morning and for the most part all of the breathing exercises are done at least once that week. As for recycling, sadly, the school I am currently student teaching at does not have a recycling bin anywhere to be found. Luckily for our class, we talked about recycling and a way to help save the planet we use as less paper as possible for the time being.
